Bassey Jackson
Bassey Jackson is the Managing Partner of AAED Law and has overall responsibility for the management of the firm. Bassey has advised and represented clients including international companies, international organizations of all sizes, and individual clients who are interested in doing business or needing IP legal services or representation in Nigeria.
Bassey obtained a B.L. from the Nigerian Law School, LL.B. and an LL.B from the University of Lagos, and a BS from Duke Univerisity, USA.
Bassey belongs to several international law firm networks of more than 150 countries sharing knowledge, experience, and serving clients with cross-border transactions globally.
The experience in both business and legal practice and the excellent relationships with all major stakeholders of government agencies in Nigeria help Bassey provide clients with competitive, flexible, client-led services that come with the assurance of quality, confidentiality, and trust.

Ben Ikeazor
Ben Ikeazor is a co-founder at AAED Law. He is the head of the firm’s intellectual property and fintech department.
In the field of intellectual property, Ben’s main legal practice areas include the creation, protection, commercialization, and enforcement of intellectual property rights in Nigeria. In terms of technology, Ben’s focus is mainly on data privacy issues, personal data protection, and network security issues.
Ben regularly contributes to issues such as data protection and franchising and has made major reports mainly involving issues related to blockchain technology and data protection.
